Logistics Manager

We are looking for a reliable Logistics Manager to be responsible for overseeing the core supply chain logistics functions. The logistics manager’s primary role is to oversee inventory across 4 warehouses and ensure timely shipments of orders with our freight partner to distribution partners. In this role, you are highly focused on moving inventory/trucks/dispatching.  Additionalresponsibilities include coordinating partners (co-manufacturing and warehousing) on organizing and monitoring the storage and distribution of ingredients, materials, and finished goods. By effectively managing logistics operations and relationships, this position will improve supply chain performance, impact business development and deliver vendor/customer satisfaction.

 A great asset for a Logistics Manager is their communication and professional relationship management skills. They also have a basic understanding of supply management principles and practices such as safety stock, lead times and bills of lading. The ideal candidate will have great record-keeping abilities, attention to detail when reviewing and completing paperwork, and a customer-oriented approach.


  • Strategically plan and manage warehouse and transportation services
  • Inputting of distributor orders, dispatching pick & pack requests and completion of bills of lading
  • Coordinate and optimize critical steps in supply chain
    • Ingredients from suppliers to manufacturers
    • Finished goods from manufacturers to warehouses
    • Order fulfillment from warehouses to customers
  • Liaise and negotiate with suppliers, manufacturers, and logistics counterparts
  • Keep track of aging inventory, stock levels, fulfillment cut-offs and delivery lead times for ingredients, packaging materials, and finished goods
  • Meet cost, productivity, accuracy and timeliness targets
  • Maintain metrics for data driven decision making
  • Maintain regulatory compliance and industry standard performance
  • Utilize logistics management tools and software to meet deliverables in a high growth environment


  • Experience in supply chains or logistics
  • Comfort in excel – data cleaning, running pivot tables, ability to sort data
  • Understanding of perishable supply chains
  • Experience in customer service will be appreciated
  • Ability to work with little supervision and track multiple processes
  • Computer-savvy with a working knowledge of logistics software (ERP) and the ability to build/scale lo-tech systems for logistics management
  • Outstanding organizational and coordination abilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
