Ecommerce Account Manager

Hu Products LLC is looking for an experienced account manager to ensure fulfillment of all orders via our Amazon and Ecommerce market channels. As Account Manager, this position will be responsible for ensuring on time fulfillment, shipment and delivery of all Hu Products orders placed on Amazon or similar 3rd party ecommerce marketplaces, and the Hu Products webstore. This position is a part of the Hu Products Supply Chain and Operations Team and own all relationships with 3rd party fulfillment and shipping partners that serve these channels. The Account Manager will work daily with Hu’s Logistics Manager to track and maintain inventory levels across multiple locations. Additionally, this position will work cross-functionally with marketing and sales teams to support product launches, promotions, and brand building activities.

A great asset for the Account Manager is their communication and professional relationship management skills. They should have 3-4 years of account management experience and 1-2 of experience managing an Amazon Seller Central platform, preferably with food products. A prospective Account Manager should have a general understanding of supply chain and fulfillment principles and practices such as cycle counts, inventory management, ecommerce order fulfillment, shipping and packaging processes. A strong candidate will have great record-keeping abilities, attention to detail when reviewing and completing paperwork, and a customer-oriented approach. The ideal candidate will be able to use all of these skills and experiences to deliver insights that lead to improved customer experiences, fulfillment performance, increased sales and reduced costs.

Responsibilities

  • Own relationship with 3rd party ecommerce fulfillment partner
  • Own relationship with Amazon performance marketing partner
  • Manage all aspects of account performance holding partners accountable KPIs and Amazon Prime seller performance metrics
  • Drive sales performance on both platforms by optimizing product listings and packaging configurations, providing sales and operations insights and trends
  • Reduce fulfillment, shipping and delivery costs by increasing fulfillment efficiency and recognizing opportunities to capture savings
  • Conduct daily communication with partners and serve as a liaison between internal teams (sales, marketing, supply chain and ops) and partner
  • Conduct packaging temp tests and tracking to ensure quality throughout fulfillment channel
  • Lead team meetings and conference calls remotely and in person
  • Coordinate any and all team travel to partner locations
  • Collaborate with Marketing department to lead ecommerce customer services
  • Be a resource of knowledge, information, and problem solving internally

Requirements

  • 3-4 years account management
  • 1-2 years Amazon Seller Central experience
  • 1-2 years experience direct to customer sales, shipping, or fulfillment experince
  • Excel abilities include: Index Match, VLookUp, SumIfs, CountIfs, Pivot Tables
  • General understanding of perishable supply chains and shipping
  • Ability to work with little supervision and track multiple processes
  • Computer-savvy with a working knowledge of ecommerce platforms
  • Outstanding organizational and coordination abilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
